On the nose you have inviting aromas of ripe mixed wild berries, mild cacao, and adroit smoke-dried forest herbs. These ripe berry fruits generously flow across the palate, infused with cacao, cigar embers and deft oak, all wrapped with supported fine-grained tannins. Resulting in a rounded texture and a soft-edge structure that showcases the wines refined style, grace and smooth lingering dry finish.
Château Clarke 2018 has a beautiful crimson colour with a deep purple rim. The nose is bright and precise, with aromas of ripe, crisp wild berries mixed with fresher, more seductive scents of cedar. With aeration, subtle woody, and slight vanilla notes are added to enhance this highly complex bouquet. The attack is full-bodied, rich and perfectly balanced by a clean acidity that gives it a lot of elegance. The tannins are present, perfectly ripe and velvety, leading to a smooth finish.
